| Petcom™ is an easy to use, but highly effective tracking system designed specially for small dogs or cats. It allows you to locate your pet from up to 2km away. Your dog or cat is equipped with the discrete Petcom collar (just 25 grams) and you with the multi channel remote control. How does
it work To locate your dog or cat, simply sweep the remote control in different directions - the LED readout indicates the direction of your pet. Your dog or cat will be in the direction in which the most lights come on. The remote control also emits sound pulses to indicate direction - the unit emits higher pitched pulses when pointing towards the collar. Sound volume is adjustable and a jack socket enables you to use the remote control with an earphone. Activity Sensor Petcom™ has a built in activity sensor which shows you whether your dog or cat is moving or standing still, very handy for tracking purposes. Movement is indicated by a rapid pulse (1 pulse per second), when the collar is still it emits a somewhat slower pulse (1 pulse every other second). CE Approved - Interference Free A single remote control has 100 separate channels and can therefore be used with as many Petcom™ or Contact™ collars as required. The system is CE approved which means it can be used legally in the UK and rest of Europe. |
