How does it work?
The remote control handset sends out an infra-red beam to switch the collar on or off. To locate your dog, simply sweep the remote control in different directions - the LED readout indicates the dog’s direction.

The remote control also emits sound pulses to indicate direction - the unit emits higher pitched pulses when pointing towards the collar. Sound volume is adjustable and a jack socket enables you to use the remote control with an earphone.

Activity Sensor
Contact™ has a built in activity sensor which shows you whether your dog or cat is moving or standing still, very important for tracking purposes. Movement is indicated by a rapid pulse (1 pulse per second), when the collar is still for more than 10 seconds the pulse changes to a somewhat slower rate (1 pulse every other second).

Barking Sensor
The Contact™ collar is available with an optional bark sensor which emits a signal when the dog is barking.

CE Approved - Interference Free
A single remote control has 100 separate channels and can therefore be used with as many Contact™collars as required. The system is CE approved which means it can be used legally in the UK and rest of Europe.
