The Dummy Collar
We recommend the use of the Canicalm dummy collar (available as an optional extra) both before and after 'live' training. The dummy collar is worn in advance of training to allow your dog to get used the size and shape of the real collar so when you do commence training the dog feels natural and is not preoccupied with the collar itself. It's important that the dog does not associate the electrical impulses with the collar itself. Where this does happen the dummy collar can be effective when used after training.

Fully waterproof and fully adjustable, the Canicalm Rechargeable can be set to suit individual dog’s bark characteristics. Electrical impulse strength can be set to either high, low or off. The Canicalm Rechargeable offers 3 modes: beep sounds, static stimulations, beep sounds + static stimulations on/off mode. All the different modes are selectable thanks to the magnetic key bark detection by contact points (detect the vibrations of your dog's barking) battery level indicator (beep sound) bark detection sensitivity adjustable by potentiometer.
It is not recommended that this product is used on dogs younger than 6 months old.
